I spent almost a day exploring the galleries in different areas of the city and this (Green Palm) was the best, by far. Firstly, it is very well located and easy access; most of visitors are guesses of walking distance hotels. It is a clean, bright and well-presented art gallery, with necessary space to expose the pieces and we can appreciate them. My wife, my daughter and I were looking for an oil over canvas painting from Dai Hai Phong and they have a good collection there. "A HIDDEN GEM OF AN ART GALLERY IN HANOI." My wife and I were recently in Hanoi, Vietnam when we 'stumbled across' certainly the most professional, top quality gallery in all of Vietnam and most likely in all of South-East Asia - Green Palm gallery. Beautiful paintings, excellent, knowledgeable service and a relaxed 'non-pushy' experience. We came away and could not stop talking about what we had seen. We subsequently returned to the Gold Coast, Australia, and after a lot of thought, purchased a magnificent painting by Le Thanh Son entitled "SUMMER NOON." It was packaged, shipped and arrived on the Gold Coast, Australia by DHL EXPRESS SHIPMENTS with meticulous care and utter professionalism. I was able to track it's journey on the DHL website all the way from the time it left the gallery to when it arrived at my home. EXCELLENT GALLERY, EXCEPTIONAL STAFFS, QUALITY ART We first visited this gallery 4 years ago and fell in love with art by Nguyễn Trọng Minh. At that time we could not afford the price. We stayed in touch with the gallery staff on and off over the years and prior to our current visit to Vietnam we decided that we would purchase a piece by Minh. In fact we decided it would be easier to purchase the piece online and have it shipped to us in Australia to save us any worries with carrying it throughout our holiday and then coming home through customs. The staffs were extremely helpful in this process and the piece was delivered to us via UPS within five days of payment. Packing was very solid and safe.
