After a regrettably lackluster bun cha experience at a random sit down place elsewhere in the city, my wife found Bun Cha Ta online and we opted to try it given the positive reviews. We immediately knew we'd be eating there again before we departed Hanoi. The quality and portions are amazing, and the staff is exceedingly friendly. The restaurant has plenty of seating and the food comes out fast and fresh. Order the full course bun cha for the best experience, and top it off with one of their egg coffees for a delicious finisher.

We ate at Bun Cha Ta at the recommendation of our hotel, just around the corner. Located at one end of "Coffee Street", Bun Cha Ta is a wonderful and very easy first-day option. The food is delicious and service is prompt. Owner-proprietor Katy is warm and welcoming, and will walk you through how to eat bun cha (traditional Hanoi specialty) if you've never had it before. Highly recommended!

I came there with very high expectations. The spring rolls and the Banh Mi were really good, but the room where you eat is not that nice, you want to leave quickly. I think it‘s a little bit overrated

This place is such a hidden gem. There are more options than just banh mi to choose. I particularly like their crispy vegan puffs. Go here when I'm bored of my daily food.

If you want to be kind of cramped in an alleyway with a bunch of vegans with authentic banh mi and other tasty treats - this is the spot! I loved it. It was very tasty and the owners are incredibly kind.

Based on the reviews, I felt the hype for a vegan bang mi. The restaurant is in the back alley, below a vegan couple’s home. It’s as “mom and pop” as can be. I had an authentic experience but was left unimpressed by the food.

The sandwich was tasty, but given the price and the ambience and the lack of attention from the owners, it wasn’t the best dining experience I had. Maybe I came at a bad time?

Wow, they truly managed to make a super tasty Banh Mi, with different textures and flavors. so good that they didn't use only tofu. i choose the mix one and the guy made it perfect

Ordered the tofu banh mi for 35k which was brilliant. Also ordered the pho which was a 6/10 again for 35k and then pillow dumplings for 30k.

Had Bahn Mi & Noodles here and they were both delicious, it’s down an alley so not totally viable from street but worth going to find it!

We both had the tofu bahn mi and the flavour with peanuts was really good. It was quite dry without sauce, which I like, and there was sauce on the table so people can add as much as they like.

There's a great story to this restaurant which is set out on the menu, so it feels good to support this family-run vegan restaurant. They will also fill up your water bottle with filtered water before you leave.

OKAY SO. I went to Vegan Bahn Mi twice within a few days- purely because of the generosity and kindness and energy of the place!!

The Bahn mi itself is around a 4/5 honestly! Needs more salads but that is common for this city personally!!

I had the vegan soy protein option (number one) and the tofu ball Bahn mi. The tofu ball one was surprisingly my favourite!!!! The balls are not hard like a fish ball as you might expect them to be and the bread is fresh.

Sauces and salt and chilli available on the side and the mother gave me extra cucumber and cabbage when I asked nicely

Lovely small family business that is operating in their home. They have a lovely story and the food was really good and very cheap. I would highly recommend.

In HaNoi, there was a couple of Ambassador, who did their best to help poor children, they put me in to HaNoi, Hoang Hoa Tham secondary school, where I went to class, I was always laughed at for my age difference but I still went to school and also worked in a restaurant. In 2001. I had the honor of serving the president of the United states, Mr Bill Clinton etc.

Since going to school. I like studying literature, poets and other famous writers such as Secxpia, Huygo, Hemminway, Sele etc. It may be said that I worked hard to write a story of thanks my sponsors who have helped me because of "children's right to protection and development". My short story fully a new teller belongs to the national future, it was not in my imagination or creation combinated. These are true events of my childhood. I read alot about the Viet War in the 70's, which had caused alot of sufferings to the Vietnam people especially the children and women. Agent Orange and what else was used in the war even though they are illegal.The biological effect is still evident today. Yet they still deny it.

It is easier to FORGIVE but it is difficult to FORGET.
